Deliciously nutritious chocolate protein balls that satisfy sweet cravings while keeping you energized.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 45g (1 & 1/2 scoops) chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup pitted dates soaked in boiling water
- 1/3 – 1/2 cup water from the date soaking process
- 2 heaped tbsp nut butter of your choice
- Desiccated coconut for rolling
Instructions
- Soak the dates in boiling water for 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the oats, cacao powder, chocolate protein powder, soaked dates, and nut butter until well combined.
- Adjust the consistency with the soaking water if needed to achieve the desired texture.
- Roll the mixture into balls of your desired size.
- Roll each ball in desiccated coconut to coat them fully.
- Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
Notes
Experiment with different nut butters or add chia seeds for extra nutrition.
