Description

Deliciously nutritious chocolate protein balls that satisfy sweet cravings while keeping you energized.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 45g (1 & 1/2 scoops) chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates soaked in boiling water
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup water from the date soaking process
  • 2 heaped tbsp nut butter of your choice
  • Desiccated coconut for rolling


Instructions

  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 20 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the oats, cacao powder, chocolate protein powder, soaked dates, and nut butter until well combined.
  3. Adjust the consistency with the soaking water if needed to achieve the desired texture.
  4. Roll the mixture into balls of your desired size.
  5. Roll each ball in desiccated coconut to coat them fully.
  6. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

Notes

Experiment with different nut butters or add chia seeds for extra nutrition.
