- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
