Description

Indulgent chocolate chip cheesecake bars made with a creamy filling and chocolate chip cookie dough.


Ingredients

  • 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13×9” pan with parchment paper.
  2. Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4” thick slices and press them into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes or until the crust sets slightly.
  4. Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add in the egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and optional lemon juice. Mix until combined.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the baked crust.
  7. Slice the remaining cookie dough and layer it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bars cool completely before refrigerating.
  10. Once chilled, slice and serve.

Notes

Press the cookie dough firmly for a sturdy base and use an electric mixer for a smooth filling. Refrigerate for several hours for best results.
