Description
Indulgent chocolate chip cheesecake bars made with a creamy filling and chocolate chip cookie dough.
Ingredients
- 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 16 oz Cream cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13×9” pan with parchment paper.
- Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4” thick slices and press them into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the crust sets slightly.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add in the egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and optional lemon juice. Mix until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the baked crust.
- Slice the remaining cookie dough and layer it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the bars cool completely before refrigerating.
- Once chilled, slice and serve.
Notes
Press the cookie dough firmly for a sturdy base and use an electric mixer for a smooth filling. Refrigerate for several hours for best results.
