Description

A beloved Korean dish featuring tender marinated chicken grilled or stir-fried, bursting with sweet and savory flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade and stir to coat. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Serve with hot cooked rice.

Notes

Marinate the chicken longer for deeper flavor. Customize heat level with gochujang to taste.
