- 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (options like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and steak pieces, cooking until the steak is browned.
- Stir in the uncooked rice and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the rice is cooked (about 15-20 minutes).
- Once the rice is tender, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Cover again until the cheese melts.
