Description

A comforting and hearty casserole combining classic meatloaf flavors with a cheesy twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, chopped onion, ketchup, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through with a golden brown top.
  5. Rest for a few minutes before serving.
