A creamy and delicious cheesy broccoli casserole that combines fresh broccoli with a rich cheese sauce, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups broccoli (washed and chopped)
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese (shredded and divided)
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Place chopped broccoli into a medium microwave-safe bowl and add water. Microwave for three minutes, then cool and drain excess water.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, one cup of shredded cheddar, ranch dressing, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the cooled broccoli until well-coated.
- Pour the mixture into an 8×8 baking pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
Experiment with different cheeses and seasonings to enhance flavors. Adding breadcrumbs can add a crunchy topping.
