Ingredients

  • 5 oz / 300g Asparagus (see notes)
  • 3/4 cup / 75g Moz zarella, shredded
  • 1/4 cup / 20g Parmesan, finely grated
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, minced/finely diced
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Salt
  • 1/8 tsp (1 ml) Black Pepper


Instructions

  1. Remove and discard the tough ends of the asparagus, then combine with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Arrange them evenly on a baking sheet.
  2. Place them in the oven at 390°F/200°C for about 8-10 minutes, or until they begin to wrinkle and become slightly tender.
  3. Remove from the oven and scatter mozzarella over the top, followed by a layer of Parmesan.
  4. Place under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and turns a golden color, with the asparagus becoming tender enough to pierce with a fork. Serve immediately!
