Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) ground beef (450 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (2.5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (115 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise (60 milliliters)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) ketchup (60 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) mustard (15 milliliters)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) finely chopped pickles (40 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped onions (40 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped tomatoes (40 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame seeds (9 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh parsley (4 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries.
  3. Place the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Season the fries with half of the salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the fries to coat them evenly with the seasonings and oil.
  6. Bake the fries in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  9. Season the beef with the remaining salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  10. Drain excess fat from the skillet and set the beef aside.
  11. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the sauce.
  12. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven.
  13. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the fries.
  14. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef and fries.
  15. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
  16. Remove from the oven and drizzle with the prepared sauce.
  17. Top with chopped pickles, onions, and tomatoes.
  18. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped fresh parsley.
  19. Serve immediately.
