Ingredients
- 2 cups beef, shredded (240g)
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (18g)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15ml)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (15ml)
- 1 tablespoon honey (15g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (2g)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 scallion, thinly sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place the shredded carrots in a large mixing bowl.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown, then set aside to cool.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
- Add the minced garlic to the dressing and mix well.
- Pour the dressing over the shredded carrots and toss to coat evenly.
- Add the toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallion to the carrot mixture.
