Ingredients
- 8 slices of baguette
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 8 ounces of burrata cheese
- 4 ounces of prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush both sides of each baguette slice with olive oil.
- Place the oiled baguette on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for approximately 5-7 minutes or until they turn lightly golden and crisp.
- After they cool slightly, spread a generous amount of burrata cheese on each crostini.
- Drape a slice of prosciutto over the burrata, allowing the meat to gently hug the cheese.
- Garnish each crostini with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
Notes
Use a serrated knife to slice the baguette for cleaner cuts. Allow the crostini to cool slightly before adding toppings to maintain bread integrity.
