A hearty and nutritious plant-based alternative with spicy buffalo flavors that transforms cauliflower into bold, delicious steaks.
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Slice the cauliflower into thick steaks, about 1 inch each.
- In a bowl, mix together the hot sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the sauce mixture.
- Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and tender.
- While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the vegan ranch by mixing the vegan mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, dill, and onion powder in a small bowl.
- Serve the buffalo cauliflower steaks hot, drizzled with the creamy vegan ranch.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the cauliflower steaks in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before baking.
