Description

A hearty and nutritious plant-based alternative with spicy buffalo flavors that transforms cauliflower into bold, delicious steaks.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Slice the cauliflower into thick steaks, about 1 inch each.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the hot sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the sauce mixture.
  5. Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and tender.
  6. While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the vegan ranch by mixing the vegan mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, dill, and onion powder in a small bowl.
  7. Serve the buffalo cauliflower steaks hot, drizzled with the creamy vegan ranch.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the cauliflower steaks in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before baking.
