Ingredients
- 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or another soft cheese spread like Boursin)
- ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
- Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate, leaving about a quarter-inch around the edge clean.
- Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layer.
- Add the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the entirety of the plate.
- Serve with pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette.
Notes
Use ripe tomatoes for added sweetness and juiciness. Fresh basil enhances the flavor; be generous. Adjust ingredients to taste for a perfect balance.
