  • Maple syrup, 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Fresh strawberries, 1 cup (150 g)
  • Fresh blueberries, 1 cup (150 g)
  • Fresh raspberries, 1 cup (125 g)
  • Sliced bananas, 2 medium
  • Sliced beef or chicken sausage, 8 oz (225 g)
  • Sliced cheese, 4 oz (115 g)
  • Almonds, 1/2 cup (75 g)
  • Honey, 1/4 cup (60 ml)
  • Greek yogurt, 1 cup (240 g)
  • Granola, 1/2 cup (50 g)
  • Chopped fresh mint, 2 tablespoons (8 g)


Instructions

  1. Prepare waffles according to package instructions if using store-bought, or make your own.
  2. Slice the strawberries and bananas into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Arrange the waffles on a large serving board or platter.
  4. Place small bowls of maple syrup and honey on the board.
  5. Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and sliced bananas around the waffles.
  6. Cook the turkey or chicken sausage until fully cooked, then slice and arrange on the board.
  7. Add the sliced cheese next to the sausages.
  8. Place the almonds in a small bowl or spread them around the board.
  9. Add a bowl of Greek yogurt to the board.
  10. Sprinkle granola over the yogurt or place a small dish of granola on the board.
  11. Garnish the board with chopped fresh mint for a touch of color and flavor.
  12. Serve immediately, allowing guests to mix and match items as desired.
