- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add the warm milk, vegetable oil, egg, and egg whites to your bread machine pan.
- Sprinkle the sugar, salt, and yeast over the liquid, then pour the flour over everything.
- Close the lid and set your bread machine to the dough cycle.
- Once the dough cycle is complete, dump the dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the softened butter over the dough, then mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkling evenly over the buttered surface.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long edge, sealing the seam, and cut into equal slices about 1 inch thick.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and cover them, letting them rise for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, warm water, and vanilla extract for the frosting until smooth and creamy, then drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure your yeast is fresh and allow the milk to warm just until comfortable to the touch.
