Ingredients
- Croissants (store-bought or homemade)
- Vanilla pastry cream:
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup sugar

- Prepare the vanilla pastry cream by whisking together milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened. Let it cool completely.
- If using store-bought croissants, slice them in half. If making from scratch, prepare the croissant dough and shape it into croissants.
- Fill each croissant with the cooled pastry cream.
- For the chocolate glaze, melt chocolate with a bit of butter until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the filled croissants.
- Serve immediately or chill for a more set cream.
Notes
Consider making your pastry cream ahead of time to allow it to cool completely. Experiment with different chocolate flavors for the glaze.
