Description

A delightful dessert featuring chewy sago pearls and rich mango flavor, perfect for sharing and savoring after any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago or mini tapioca pearls
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 fresh mangoes (either Australian or regular)
  • ½ cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk


Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup of sago pearls and 6 cups of water to a pot.
  2. Turn the heat to medium-low and allow to cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Cover the pot with a lid, turn off the heat, and let the sago rest for 3 minutes.
  4. Drain the sago pearls and run them under cold water.
  5. Cut fresh mangoes into cubes and place half in a blender.
  6. Add condensed milk and coconut milk, then blend until smooth.
  7. Fold in the drained sago pearls gently.
  8. Serve the blend topped with the remaining fresh mango cubes.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. Chill the sago before mixing for an enhanced refreshing experience.
