Description

A delightful and easy recipe for moist chocolate chip banana bread made with ripe bananas and mini chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for best results. Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
