Description

A comforting and nourishing dish featuring ground beef and tender gnocchi in a rich tomato sauce, perfect for cozy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package (16 oz) gnocchi
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes, until they float to the top.
  5. Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes
