Description

Delicious baked Greek turkey meatballs are paired with a refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • For the tzatziki sauce:
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, feta cheese, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, egg, and parsley until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. For the tzatziki sauce, combine grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, dill, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Serve meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Chill the meatball mixture for 30 minutes to help flavors meld. Use a cookie scoop for uniform meatballs. Broil for a crispy exterior if desired.
