Description

A comforting dessert filled with warm cinnamon and tart apples, topped with a crunchy oat layer.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the sliced apples with lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the apples evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the melted butter to the dry mixture and stir until crumbly.
  6. Spread the crumb topping evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
