Description

These air fryer turkey meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and a healthier alternative to traditional meatballs, making them perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Form the mixture into medium-sized meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Notes

For additional flavor, try adding herbs like basil or oregano. Chilling the mixture before forming meatballs can enhance the texture.
