Description

Deliciously crispy chicken meatballs made healthier in the air fryer, perfect for meals or snacks any time.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix everything until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the air fryer and serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving to ensure juiciness. If the mixture is sticky, a light coating of oil on your hands can help form the meatballs.
