Description

A simple and delicious vegan banana bread made with just five ingredients, perfect for sharing or enjoying by yourself.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup flour (either whole wheat or all-purpose)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the flour and baking soda until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
