Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest (plus 1 teaspoon for glaze)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into four equal strips.
- Lightly roll each strip into a long shape and tie them into knots.
- Combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of orange zest in a bowl. Dip each knot into the mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Place the knots on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the knots bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, freshly squeezed orange juice, and the remaining teaspoon of orange zest.
- Once the knots are done, let them cool slightly before drizzling the glaze over them.
Notes
For a more intense citrus flavor, experiment with the amount of orange zest. You can also adjust the sweetness of the glaze to your liking.
