Healthy and satisfying keto stuffed bell peppers filled with ground beef, onion, and cheese, perfect for a nourishing meal.
Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook the chopped onion and garlic until they are translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in half of the shredded cheese.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding in the skillet for better browning of the meat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
